Suffolk Soccer Interleague

Welcome to Suffolk Soccer Interleague!

We are the largest intramural recreational soccer program on Long Island, NY with over 15 partner clubs and have been providing a safe and fun atmosphere for all players since 1987!

SSI is proud to extend its services to our partner club's in-house programs and welcome all to participate in our program to represent your club colors.

All teams play for competition, fun, exercise, and out of their love for soccer.  We foster a comfortable and safe environment for new players to learn and for seasoned players to grow.

Safety is our top priority.  In addition to our own policy, we follow all applicable laws and guidelines to ensure the safety of all players.

SSI has a Zero Tolerance Policy relating to harassment or discrimination on any basis, including, but not limited to: race, religion, gender, and sexual orientation.  More information about this policy is available under resources.

Furthermore, we strive to have all players play at least 50% of each match and do not give out trophies at the end of the season.

The Coach's Corner

SSI is pleased to bring the Coach's Corner onto our web page.  On the forum, anybody can start a conversation pertaining to SSI, our rules, or anything in general.  We hope you find it useful to have questions answered and to help out with any confusion.

Periodically, questions and answers from the forum will be featured on the Coach's Corner highlights page where any visitor in a rush can get a quick run down of what has recently been asked or is frequently asked.

The Coach's Corner Forum can be accessed here and the forum highlights can be accessed here.

New Media Initiative

SSI is looking to feature pictures on the website to highlight our amazing teams, players, coaches and referees.  If you would like a photo featured, contact us and we will feature the photos!  All photos are on the highlights page, with one being featured here on the homepage.

The featured photo displays the St. Joseph's CYO Sidekicks and Fire posing with the St. Joseph's University Golden Eagles team.  The Sidekicks and Fire had the opportunity to meet the older players and stand by them during the national anthem of a home game.  During half time, the Sidekicks and Fire had their names announced and scrimmaged on the turf while being celebrated by the college cheerleaders.  We thank the players of the Golden Eagles, the Golden Eagles' head coach Tom Williamson, and Michelle Laurino of St Joseph's CYO for making this happen!

Things we care about!

We support all local service members, veterans, and first responders.  Moreover, we support local charities and charity chapters that share our values and uplift the community.  If you would like to feature your organization or any organization you like, contact us!

At SailAhead, we partner with local Yacht Clubs and sailing organizations to take military veterans, active duty, and family members sailing. Connecting local civilians with local veterans, we bridge the gap between two worlds.

Our goal is three-fold: spread PTSD and veteran suicide awareness, honor Our Mates, and foster community connection between the sailing and military worlds.

The Alzheimer's Disease Resource Center's mission is to provide care, support and educational programs for families in need, and to be advocates for local families who are coping with Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementias.  We provide care consultations, information & referrals, education, support groups, therapy programs for caregivers and their loved ones. We provide educational training to professional healthcare workers, graduate students, and other organizations throughout Long Island.
