U19-U26

Safety

  • In certain weather conditions (e.g. high himidity and temperatures (90+)), quarters will be played.

  • If any team has 2 or less substitutes, quarters will be played.

  • On hot or rainy cold day, coaches can agree to shorten game time.

  • If a player is suspected to have a head injury the referee is instructed to stop play to allow for evaluation as needed and keep the players pass.

5 Goal Rule

  • No longer required to remove players from the field.

  • HS and JS age divisions are exempt from this rule, but scores will still be reviewed for unsportsmanlike conduct.

    • As of October 1st, all U13+ teams are exempt from the rule.

  • The Coach is responsible for controlling the score

  • If there is a 5 goal differential (a team is up by 5 goals like 7-2) then:

      • The game is over

      • Winning team's coaches will receive disciplinary action.

Quarters (i.e. Water Break)

  • If quarters are being played, then at around halfway through each half the referee will pause play for players to come off of the field. The clock runs and the game continues from previous play.

Substitution

  • All players must come off of the field before new players can enter the field

  • NO substitutions during the final 3 minutes of each half

Equipment

  • Shin-guards

  • Soccer cleats or Sneakers

  • NO jewelry (except for medical reasons such as a medical bracelet)

  • NO hard clips

  • NO cast of any type
