Safety
In certain weather conditions (e.g. high himidity and temperatures (90+)), quarters will be played.
If any team has 2 or less substitutes, quarters will be played.
On hot or rainy cold day, coaches can agree to shorten game time.
If a player is suspected to have a head injury the referee is instructed to stop play to allow for evaluation as needed and keep the players pass.
'5 Goal Rule' Procedure
The Coach is responsible for controlling the score
Unsportsmanlike goal differentials will be evaluated by the SSI committee.
A 5 goal lead is an automatic Yellow Card
There are many ways for the coaches to keep the score in check while keeping the game interesting for the players. A coach may require the players to complete 3 passes before shooting, require shooting beyond the 18, require a goal to be from a centering pass, etc...
Water Break (Safety Rule)
If a team has 2 or less substitutes at game time, a water break must be taken in both halves.
Coaches may request water breaks if they aren't mandatory for that game (i.e. More than 2 subs on each team)
Procedure: At around halfway through each half the referee will pause play for players to come off of the field and drink water. The clock runs and the game continues from previous play.
Please NOTE this is not a coaching break, players will get a maximum of 2 minutes to re-hydrate.

All players must come off of the field before new players can enter the field
NO substitutions during the final 3 minutes of each half
